A speed boat constantly drives up and down the lake ferrying people from the parking lot to the lake houses.
I went to Lake Tahoe to do some hiking and landscape paintings (see http://tonyweinstock.blogspot.com/2010/09/tahoe-paintingssept-01-to-sept-12-2010.html and earlier), but this was from the hiking-only part of my stay.
